Review: Creatura by Nely Cab

First I have to say that Creatura is one of the best books that I have read for a while now. I know I say that a lot but this time I am soooooo serious! Creatura takes you into a world that you wouldn’t and couldn’t dream up by yourself! Nely is so amazing!!!! I feel speechless right now and not really sure what to say haha. I am trying to sum up the events in this book but everything that I am typing is a spoiler! I haven’t had this much difficulty in awhile trying to write a review. Isis is a amazing beautiful caring female lead. And David……Don’t even get me started on him!!!! Nely has officially made the lives of every man in my future ten thousand times harder!!! My standards for men have soared through the roof and only Dues knows if there is someone out there can live up to those standards!!! So now that I am done rambling I can tell you that you need to get this book as soon as possible. It will take you for one hell of a ride that you will not soon forget!!!!

Review: Learning In The Dark by Margaret Sarah Bechtel

Learning In The Dark is a fantastic read! It takes you through so many emotions that it is ridiculous!!! But in a good way. I cried, laughed, cussed at the book and just about threw it across the room multiple times. I don’t really know what to say without ruining it for those of you that have not read it. But I will say that everything Lynn, Davis, Carter, and Sophie feel….you will right along with them and it is incredible. Margaret has a real knack for writing fabulous books and making you feel their emotions and making it seem like you are right there in the story with them! You need to get this book ASAP and just dig in!!!

Review: Purpose by Kristie Cook

The wonderful Kristie Cook has done it again! Just like with her first novel, Promise, I fell in love immediately! I cannot wait until I can get the next one! This book takes place seven years after Promise ended. In that time poor Alexis has been in a horrible state of depression and many other mental problems. Her mother is still with her to help her care for her son. In this novel Alexis goes through many moods that she would classify as Foggy Alexis, Evil Alexis, Angry Alexis, Almost Normal Alexis, and etc…. But it does get better because guess what….yup I am so not telling you and you are going to have to read it to find out, but awesome! I can’t believe that everything turned out okay and that promises were able to be kept. Although a lot of obstacles stood in the past of happiness, Lexi overcame them and became the strong powerful woman that she is now. God I hate trying to explain this without spoilers and I don’t want to ruin it for everyone but things are crazy hard to explain anything! All I have to say is that if you have not picked this book up or the first in the series Promise….you really need to. You will not be disappointed!

Review: Promise by Kristie Cook

I first must say that I already knew how fabulous this book is! I just needed to reread to make sure I am ready for Devotion when it releases soon.

Now with that said I am going to attempt to tell you all why this is sooooooo amazing!!!

In Promise, Kristie does an amazing job of making her characters seem so real! Alexis is a fabulous female lead and Tristan….well what can I say. He’s mysterious and sexy and completely irresistible!!! The relationship that forms between Alexis is awesome and it grows just as fast as Alexis in this book. And it’s not like BANG! Done. Nope they literally let their relationship grow until they couldn’t take it anymore! Now I am having a hell of a time trying to do this review without spoiling it for all of you guys so I will just say this…..READ THIS BOOK NOW!!!!!!! You have to get this immediately and while you are at it…..You mise well get Purpose too because if you don’t you are going to regret it!

Review: Genesis by Kristie Cook

This book spans what seems like hundreds of years and it’s amazing how Kristie was able to take you from one decade to the next and you not even realize it until it was going on to the next. Every time change flows right into the next and I think that it worked beautifully!  At the beginning you will hear about the story of Andrew who was cast out of Heaven because of his love for Zoe, a mere human woman who he was sent to protect. From there it goes onto much later in life with Andrew and his two children Cassandra and Jordan. From there Andrew “goes home” and Cassandra and Jordan learn the true reason why they are so different. They set out on completely different paths, Jordan to a much dark path and Cassandra to a bright path filled with love. Thanks to Jordan and his need to rule all of the darkness in the world, also known as hell, with his Deamoni family he tricks his sister and niece into drinking an elixir, but it turned oh so wrong. From that point on the Amadis was created, completely different from the Deamoni (hells army) the Amadis is God’s army.

I was doing my best above to recount what I could tell you about this amazing Novella! I tried my hardest not to put in any spoilers so hopefully that worked out to my advantage. This book was seriously amazing! It explains every question I have ever had about the Deamoni and the Amadis. It is truly an amazing adventure that Kristie takes you on. Cassandra has to be the most loving person I have ever read about and Jordan the exact opposite. I am usually attracted to the evil bad boys but Jordan was just too much for me. He was an awesome character though. Without him the story would have been boring and uninteresting to me. If you plan on reading The Soul Savers series ever in the future you NEED to start with this book! It helps clarify things as you are reading Promise…..I promise! Lol.
